GraphThe reporting has been completed, and it is now possible to calculate the state of the real estate market in the area. 

Year over year saw an increase in the Median price in Jackson county increase by 13% from this same reporting period last year. And a 30.3% increase in values in the last 5 years.

So I would say it would be safe to say that at this time, the housing market has bounced back and is currently running at full speed. 

The median price of a house in Ashland that sold last month was $376,000. 

Talent's median price was $245,000. 

The least expensive median priced area in Jackson county is West Medford where the median price was $139,000. 

In other good news, foreclosures and short sale only accounted for 14% of all sales and only 6% of current listings. 

At this time there are roughly 1050 houses for sale in Jackson county, and of those 52 are distressed sales. All other listings are regular transaction.
